Our Philosophy
Welcome to Ms’ Onaiwu’s Music Camp! As we begin our journey with you, we look forward to nurturing your child in a dynamic musical learning environment that will encourage them to develop their passion for music. We aspire to do extraordinary things in the lives of each camper. We believe that music is a universal language that anyone can understand. Life revolves around it, and it has the power and ability to change lives. Music is the ultimate gift, both to give and receive. Once a child receives this gift from a young age, it creates a unique sensation that continues to grow within.
Ms’ Onaiwu’s Music Camp is a one-week day camp with fun activities that promote self-esteem, engagement, building musical abilities, and life-long friendships. During the week, the campers work diligently on a musical. They learn 5-6 songs, the choreography for each song, and their speaking parts. Every child has the opportunity to be on stage and perform individually or as a group to reveal their potentials. At Ms’ Onaiwu’s Music Camp, we encourage teamwork, effort, courage, responsibility, growth, creativity, spirit, involvement, and independence. On the last day of camp, we invite the parents and families of the campers to watch the incredible work they put together through the week.
